Uploading
web page files can often be confusing. A FTP client can make this process
a lot less painful. In just a few clicks, you can get your HTML
and picture files up on the web.

The first step is to get your server address. iPlus
ftp server address is ftp.home.i-plus.net.
If we are hosting your domain the address would most likely be ftp..yourdomain.com.
The next thing you will need is your username and password.
If your are using the Free 5mb web space provided with your iPlus account,
it will probably be the same as your dial-up-networking connection you
use to connect to iPlus.
Once uploaded, you can view your site by going to http://home.i-plus.net/username.
(Replace 'username' with your login name)
Or, if you are a domain hosting customer, you
web address is of course: http://www.yourdomain.com (Replace 'yourdomain'
with your actual domain name).
To
transfer a file that contains text (.html*, .txt):
1.
Click once on a file to select it. (If you plan to transfer
multiple files, hold down the "control" key and click once on each file
you wish to select.)
2.
Click on the ASCII radio button.
3.
Click once on the "->" arrow positioned
between the Local System and Remote Site windows to initiate the transfer
of files from your computer to the Remote Site. *(Images are not included
in HTML files, they must be transferred separately.)
